Advanced Installation Services (AIS) is an office furniture installation company known for quality workmanship, competitive pricing, and customer satisfaction. AIS is a State licensed contractor and member of the Modular Installers Association, an association of licensed installation contractors who work exclusively with modular office furniture systems. We have been in business as an independent company since 1993.
We perform installation, reconfiguration, delivery, and service work in a number of varied office environments in and around the Bay Area. Our customers include everything from the large "Fortune 500" companies to the small "Start Up" companies. Our customers have come to rely on our lead men and crews for quality projects completed on time and on budget. We maintain a close working relationship with a number of the top Furniture Dealerships located in California.
AIS is a quality company with a proven track record of quality performance. We are very well equipped, and our staff is well trained and highly motivated to produce quality installation projects. We believe in exacting planning and execution of our jobs, and have proven ourselves with many customers and countless jobs and projects over the last 17 years.
We are experienced with products from manufacturers such as Steelcase, Haworth, Smed, Herman Miller, Allsteel, Teknion, KI, Knoll, Harpers, Office Specialty, Geiger, Gunlocke, Bernhardt, Affordable Interior Systems, Trendway, and Kimball. Our crew includes lead men and installers experienced with virtually every system in use.
AIS Features
- A Crew of 100 installers including 15 experienced foremen.
- A 58,000 sq. ft. Warehouse and Office Facility with a central location.
- A Fleet of vehicles including a service van, five Bobtail trucks, and a tractor/trailer rig.

- All necessary equipment such as panel carts, dollies, ramps, book and equipment carts, furniture pads, and specialty tools (rotohammer, power saw, router, jig saw, laser, etc.)
Management

The Management Personnel of AIS bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Walt Morse is the President and oversees the administration and business affairs of the company. He has worked in the construction and furniture industries as a contractor and business owner since 1971. Mark King is the Vice President and is the operational director of the company. Mark has been involved in the furniture business as an installer, supervisor, and business owner since 1979. Steve Massie heads our project management and field operations. Steve is experienced in every phase of the furniture installation industry and has been in the trade since 1980.
Warehouse and Office Staff

Our warehouse manager, Ron Sunseri has over 25 years of warehousing and distribution experience. He is assisted by our warehouse Foreman, Jose Madrigal, and assistant Foreman Javier Rodriguez. The logistics of scheduling incoming and outbound deliveries is managed by Manny Bracamonte.

Our office staff includes the scheduler, Jennifer Morse who has 10 years experience in operations. Candy Pung is our administrator and takes care of field payroll responsibilities, obtains the insurance certificates, and processes the paperwork for invoicing. Tori DeSimone processes and issues the invoices. Debra Figueiredo is the accounting manager and among other duties oversees payroll, invoicing, and payables.
History
Our company was founded in 1993 when the dealership we were a part of was sold. The owners agreed to preserve the installation department and form an independent company to serve the dealership and ensure that the customers would continue to experience the high level of service they had come to rely upon. We left the dealership with 28 people and grew the first year to 45 people and the second year to 60 people. Over the years the size of the company has fluctuated from 60 employees to 140 employees to meet the ebb and flow of the furniture industry, but of the 28 original installers 23 are still with the company. Our current roster is at 106 employees, which a number that we believe we can manage most effectively. We began with one dealer relationship and have since developed many other solid working relationships. We now work with many of the finest contract office furniture dealers located throughout California, and around the Country.
Community Service
AIS actively participates in the community supporting activities such as the Leap 4 kids …imagination in learning organization which promotes art and architecture in Bay Area schools, and the Bay Area Rescue Mission which provides food and shelter to needy and homeless people and families. We also annually sponsor two youth softball teams, one for girls and the other for boys.
Recycling and the Environment
In concert with our Dealership and Manufacturing partners, AIS is dedicated to being good corporate citizens and stewards of our environment. We recycle the shipping protection and manufacturers packaging waste materials and utilize green friendly and hazardous material free cleaning products.
